Directly through Lemon Squeezy — in any common currency, with an invoice — or through the App Store and the Play Store. You cancel where you bought. Terms, withdrawal and licences live on balane.app.

Pricing questions
Is Free a trial?
No. Free is free for good and does not expire. The limits are projects, people, history length and attachment storage — not time.
What happens to my data if I go from Pro back to Free?
Nothing is deleted. Existing projects above the Free limit become read-only until you reduce to three active ones. The export stays complete and available at any time.
Do I need my own OpenAI or Mistral subscription for the AI features?
Only if you want one. With your own key there is no quota and no metering on our side — your invoice. Without your own key you get a monthly balance measured in money rather than requests, and you can top it up.
Can I pay yearly?
Yes. €99.99 a year instead of €9.99 a month — two monthly payments less. Both prices include statutory VAT.
Which currency am I billed in?
On a direct purchase through Lemon Squeezy, in your own currency — the checkout shows the final amount, with Lemon Squeezy acting as merchant of record and issuing the invoice. Through the App Store or Play Store, the local store price applies.
